Leesburg Partnership Annual Installation and Awards Dinner

Leesburg Saturday Morning Market

The Farmers Market is held every Saturday starting October 4, 2008 to May 30, 2009 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm on Towne Square, in Historic Downtown Leesburg. (Closed April 25, 2009 Bikefest Weekend)

Experience a multitude of vendors who sell produce, plants & flowers, cooked and prepared specialty foods such as: fish, meat, cheese, eggs, bakery items, jellies & jams, honey, nuts, coffee, ethnic foods. These products vary from week to week, so there is always something new. Also enjoy live entertainment from local talent. The Great! Scare Crow Build-Off

Saturday October 4, 2008. The fun begins at 9 am until 1 pm on Towne Square in Historic Downtown Leesburg. $20 entry fee includes materials. Everyone is invited to compete for the Scariest, Most Creative or Cutest Trophies. Scare Crows will be on Display down Main Street Thru November 1st.

13th Annual Leesburg Main Street Christmas House

Sneak Preview Thursday, October 30, 2008, 4:00-9:00 pm, Grand Opening Saturday, November 1, 2008 through December 13, 2008.

Open Monday-Saturday 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, Sunday 12 noon to 4 pm.  Over 100 Holiday Crafters, featuring over 50,000 items, unique handcrafted holiday decorations and gifts.

The Christmas House is located at 204 N. 5th Street (Old Library Building next to City Hall)

Beast Feast

Leesburg Main Street Christmas Stroll

Friday, November 28, 2008 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm in Historic Downtown Leesburg.

Venetian Gardens Light Up

Held annually in Venetian Gardens, Light-up Ceremony Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 6:00 pm then opens nightly through January 1, 2009. Drive or walk through on of Lake County’s largest holiday display featuring over 500,000 mini lights and Holiday displays.

The Leesburg Main Street Christmas Parade

Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 6:00 pm. in Historic Downtown Leesburg.  The Holiday Parade features marching bands, twirler and dance groups and lighted floats. The Official Mardi Gras Store

12th Annual Mardi Gras Ball “A Crowning Event”

12th Annual Mardi Gras™ “Party in the Street”

Saturday, February 21, 2009 in Historic Downtown Leesburg. 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, Twelve Hours of Madness, Starting with the Kids Parade at 11:00 pm followed by the Pets Parade at 2:00 pm.  Enjoy festive foods, live entertainment, street performers, stilt walkers, jugglers, tight rope walkers, fire eaters and much-much more.  Listen to the great New Orleans style Marching Jazz Bands, Cajun Zydeco and Blues all live on three stages. Live bands on 8 stages all day and night, Ms Bikefest Contest, Rat’s Hole Custom Motorcycle Show, Biker Demonstrations, Stunt Riding, Festive Food, Merchandise Vendors and much more.
