The Leesburg Saturday Morning Market Great Scarecrow Build-Off and Expo
Saturday
October 2, 2010. The fun begins at 8 am until 12 pm on Towne Square in Historic
Downtown Leesburg. $20 entry fee includes materials. Everyone is invited to
compete for the Merchants, City Dept, General Public Trophies. Scare Crows will
be on Display down Main Street Thru October 30, 2010. For information contact

Leesburg Saturday Morning Market
The Farmers Market is held every Saturday starting October 2, 2010 to April 30,
2011 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm on Towne Square, in Historic Downtown Leesburg.
(Closed April 9, 2011 Bikefest Weekend) Experience a multitude of vendors who
sell produce, plants & flowers, cooked and prepared specialty foods such as:
fish, meat, cheese, eggs, bakery items, jellies & jams, honey, nuts, coffee,
ethnic foods. These products vary from week to week, so there is always
something new. Also enjoy live entertainment from local talent. The Leesburg

Christmas Parade
Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 3 pm till 10 pm in Historic Downtown Leesburg. Fun
for the whole family, stores open for holiday shopping, Snow Mountain Slide,
Uncle Donald’s Farm petting zoo, Dickens Carolers, Strolling Jazz Band, Street
Performers, Live performances by local civic groups, Festive Foods and you won’t
believe your eyes “let it snow let it snow”. The Lighted Holiday Parade
steps-off at 7 pm and features marching bands, twirler and dance groups and
lighted floats. The parade route is on Main Street and travels east from 11th
