The Leesburg Saturday Morning Market

Open Every Saturday 8am – 1pm • Towne Square • 510 W. Main Street

Be sure to follow us on Facebook!

Our market is here to serve the community with the freshness of foods, air, goods, relationships, quality, and service!

When you purchase store-bought groceries you’re getting foods that have been created in a way to keep them preserved for extended periods of time, they’ve been created by man to be bigger, store longer, and look more appealing to the eye. It loses its nutritional value! When you purchase from growers you’re getting foods that have been harvested and prepared just before they’re sold to you. The difference in freshness not only makes it taste the way it should and last longer in your home, but most of all transcends beyond measure to valuable nutrition!

We are made up of local “makers”. We take the freshness of the resources created by God and provide them to you for your health and enjoyment!

Taste, See and Feel the difference….allow our artisans to bring energy and vigor to your life!

Did I tell you we had your wellness in mind? This weekend you can take in a quick therapeutic massage by the fountain before you head home with your bags of exciting goodies!

Here are some of the things you’ll find….

Dirty Dog Organics, a local Leesburg farm family, stocks our market with Organically-grown produce and other naturally nutritious foods.

Harbison’s Produce and Cattle always has a LARGE selection of fresh fruits, vegetables and free-range cattle options.

2J’s Seafood has a full selection of their fresh, wild-caught seafood.

Silver Springs Honey offers all your local, raw honey needs in many forms. Local, Raw honey is pure, unheated, unpasteurized and unprocessed. It preserves all the natural vitamins, enzymes, phytonutrients and other nutritional elements.

Jessica Bailey is presenting us this weekend with her made-from-scratch breads. She’ll have Sourdough, Whole Wheat and White, and her specialty Salt-Rising Bread. Salt-Rising Bread is a dense white bread that was

widely made by early settlers in the Appalachian Mountains. The social historian J. C. Furnas, wrote that it tasted “as if a delicately reared, unsweetened plain cake mixed with a Pont l’Eveque cheese.” This bread takes a great deal of work, but Jessica goes the extra distance by using cornmeal that was grown and milled by her and her family!

Theresa Duke continues to wow us with her homemade pastries and baked goods made with all of earth’s best ingredients, fresh fruits and without any artificial sweeteners or preservatives.

Local Clermont resident, Kelly Stacy provides us with her pesticide-free, fresh-cut and dried herbs & cooking seasonings. Whatever you’re cooking, these will add flavorful nourishment beyond anything you’ve ever experienced in store-bought!

Have a craving for some Kettle Corn? We’ve got it! Freshly popped and fresh nuts made with a touch of brown sugar, cinnamon and pure vanilla, yum!

The Trees family offers Locally Roasted Organic Coffee in whole bean or ground varieties. Grab your morning cup of hot or iced when you pick up your bag for the week to take home!

Danielle DeCaprio of TruthBecomesUs provides many options for a chemical-free lifestyle of personal care and household products. Skin Care, Essential Oils, Body Wellness and Germ-fighting Household Cleaner. Be sure to stop and speak with her…she’s always willing to encourage others in overall wellness and self-care!

Do you have a family heirloom fur coat that you don’t know what to do with?

Karen Crosby of Creative Bear can turn that coat into several handmade fur teddy bears to share among your family for long lasting and heartfelt enjoyment!

A Message from Our On-Site Market Manager!

Our market has a downhome community atmosphere with a unique selection of nutritional foods and handcrafters. We’re going in a direction of more organically derived sources with good health and wellness in mind. I believe that the organic movement is really just a matter of taking things back to the basics and the way they used to be; which also transpires into the feeling that Downtown Leesburg embraces. I continue to carefully choose vendors who provide our community with quality, non-gmo and earth’s best ingredients that are good for your body and your soul! Downtown Leesburg is a gem and we’re located right in the Towne Square with live music and a leisurely mood. For anyone who is looking for a taste of nostalgia coupled with better health, you’ll certainly want to spend time with us on Saturday Mornings!
